The meeting will commence with an introduction and an overview of key takeaways from the 2025 Main Street Maryland conference. Attendees will receive a comprehensive look at planned Main Street events, including the Halloween Block Party, the Downtown Trick-or-Treat and Mummers Parade, and the Art Walk in conjunction with Jonathan Hager Week. Discussions will also focus on strategies for Small Business Saturday, holiday promotions, and leveraging opportunities related to America250. A significant portion of the agenda will be dedicated to strengthening the district’s brand messaging and overall strategy.
Further insights will be provided through an Economic Development report and remarks from the Hagerstown Police Department (HPD). To conclude the session, participants will have the opportunity to take a brief tour of Morgan Hall and The Brick Tavern, offering a firsthand look at one of the newest establishments in the downtown area. This meeting is presented as a valuable opportunity for business owners to stay informed, exchange ideas, and effectively prepare their enterprises for the anticipated increase in activity during the fall and holiday periods.
