Downtown Hagerstown is seeking community support to install and maintain festive holiday flower baskets, aiming to create a merry and welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors throughout the holiday season. According to information from the City of Hagerstown Community Engagement Office, local businesses, organizations, and families are invited to sponsor these “Bloom & Bright” baskets for $100 each. The initiative, which will see baskets installed from mid-November through early January, is designed to enhance the visual appeal of the downtown core, foster a warm and inviting environment conducive to local shopping and holiday events, and display community pride along Main Street.

Their names or business names will be featured on the Downtown Hagerstown website and shared across its social media channels. Additionally, sponsors will be acknowledged in a season-end thank-you post. Those interested in participating can complete a sponsorship form. The deadline for confirming sponsorship is October 15, 2025, a date set to ensure timely ordering and installation of the flower baskets. Individuals and entities are welcome to sponsor multiple baskets, though quantities are limited.
