HAGERSTOWN, MD News (9/26/2022) – The City of Hagerstown continues to move forward with the construction of Phase I of improvements at Wheaton Park. The master plan is based on the community input received earlier this year.
The project includes installing two historic panels to be located in the plaza, one about the park’s history and one about the house and its past tenants/caretakers. HAGERSTOWN, MD News (9/19/2022) – In 2005, Neil Parrot, current Maryland Delegate and Congressional Candidate for CD-6, sent a letter to the Herald-Mail newspaper talking about how HIV victims need compassion, as well as tattoos to indicate a person is HIV positive to potential intimate partners. Parrott recanted this position in 2010, stating that he no longer believes that a mandatory tattoo is the best solution, and is trying to set the record straight in part due to attacks by his opponent in the 2022 Congressional race.
