Mason A. Hodges was taken into custody by the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office on July 1, 2025, and is being held at the county’s adult detention center. He awaits transport to Loudoun County, where he will face an Aggravated Malicious Wounding charge related to the May 17 incident in the 500 block of East Market Street. A bond hearing is scheduled for July 7.
The case stems from a 2:18 a.m. response by Leesburg Police to reports of a large fight in a parking lot. Officers found an adult male unconscious with significant trauma. The victim was hospitalized and later released. After reviewing the evidence, authorities have identified a second person at the scene, but no charges will be filed against that individual.
