The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) Equipment Assistance Grants will distribute funds to all participating states. These states will, in turn, offer subgrants through a competitive process to school districts. The funding is intended for the acquisition of equipment exceeding $1,000 in value. School districts are encouraged to utilize these grants to acquire upgraded equipment that will facilitate healthier meal preparation and serving.
