The incident involved a Chevrolet pickup truck and a Toyota pickup truck. According to preliminary findings released by the Maryland State Police, the driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 60-year-old Daniel Price of Biglerville, Pennsylvania, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Toyota, a 58-year-old male, sustained injuries and was transported by Maryland State Police Aviation Command to a shock trauma center for advanced medical care. The preliminary investigation suggests that the Chevrolet pickup truck, operated by Mr. Price, was traveling northbound on MD 194. For reasons yet to be determined, the vehicle reportedly crossed the center yellow line, leading to a head-on collision with the oncoming Toyota pickup truck.
