HAGERSTOWN, MD News (9/28/2022) – Mark “DJ Bizzy” Smith has rocked stages, red carpets, and events the world over. Though he can regularly be found entertaining the crowd at some of the hottest clubs in D.C., Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and beyond, Bizzy doesn’t let success go to his head. In fact, DJ Bizzy is an unsung hometown hero, and is still locally spinning records at Turner’s Skate Palace.
In the past several decades, Bizzy has accomplished things many artists can only dream of. From coast to coast and everywhere in between, Bizzy continues to raise the bar and wow audiences, each performance different than the last. Mark has played movie premieres for the Spiderman and Batman franchises, entertained at celebrity events and weddings, toured with top artists, and has residencies and regular appearances at some of the nation’s hottest clubs.
Mark coaches youth basketball, and is a friend and mentor to kids and young adults on and off the court. He’s performed at countless small venues and community events, much to the delight of unsuspecting local crowds. Now, we are pleased to announce that Bizzy has combined his musical talents with another personal passion, and created events your whole family is sure to love.
DJ Bizzy loves to ROLLER SKATE, and can often be found zooming and swirling to the beat at local rinks, accompanied by his family and friends. Bizzy wants all of US to have the same opportunity to get out of the house, pile in the car, and head to Turner’s Skate Palace on Virginia Avenue in Hagerstown for a night of fun, food, and friends. Skaters and spectators alike will get to enjoy a real live DJ set performed by Bizzy himself as they spend the evening with friends old and new. With two ALL AGES events, families can enjoy a night on the town at an affordable price. Later this month, a special Costume Party Skate Night for just the grownups promises a much needed break from the daily grind.
