Frederick, MD – Early this Thursday morning, Frederick Police officers responded to a reported stabbing incident in the 100 block of Burck Street. The incident occurred at approximately 12:07 a.m., and upon arrival, law enforcement discovered three adult males who had been involved in an altercation. One individual sustained serious injuries and was transported by medevac to an area trauma center, where he is currently listed in critical but stable condition. The other two men involved were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital and have since been released.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are actively working to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the stabbing. The Frederick Police Department has stated that there is no ongoing threat to the community. Further information will be released as the investigation develops.
