Frederick, MD – The Frederick Police Department has announced the arrest of Terrance Jermain Oney, 44, of Williamsport, Maryland, in connection with a homicide that occurred in early January. The incident, which took place in the 1200 block of Danielle Drive, resulted in the death of one individual and injuries to two others.

On January 26, 2026, authorities were dispatched to the Danielle Drive address following reports of a stabbing. Upon their arrival, officers discovered three individuals with stab wounds within the residence. One of the victims, identified as Tia Channelle Holland, 44, of Frederick, Maryland, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other individuals, including a juvenile, also sustained injuries during the incident. The Frederick Police Department has stated that no further identifying information about the surviving victims will be released due to safety considerations and the ongoing nature of the investigation.
Following an investigation by the Major Crimes Unit, detectives apprehended Oney on the morning of February 3, 2026. The arrest was made without incident, and Oney was subsequently taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. He faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder, second-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, and three counts of first-degree assault.
The investigation into this homicide remains active, with detectives continuing to gather information and evidence.
