Approximately 740 MyOnlyStyler Root Booster Hair Dryers are being recalled by McLee Creations due to a significant safety hazard, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The handheld hair dryers, sold online at Amazon.com between November 2022 and October 2025 for $50 to $60, are missing a crucial immersion protection device. This deficiency poses a serious risk of electrocution or shock if the hair dryer comes into contact with water while it is plugged in, potentially leading to death or severe injury. The recalled units are white with black bristles, feature “MY ONLY STYLER” printed on the handle, and have the model number “MOS-22” on the back of the handle. They measure approximately 12 inches in length and 1.75 inches in width.

Consumers who have purchased the MyOnlyStyler Root Booster Hair Dryer are urged to immediately stop using the product and unplug it. To receive a full refund, customers must visit the company’s website at http://www.myonlystyler.com and navigate to the “Product Recalls” section. A specific recall registration portal, https://www.myonlystyler.com/product-recall-registration/, requires consumers to submit a photograph of the hair dryer with its power cord visibly cut in half, following the disposal instructions provided on the website.
