The recall encompasses five collections of Inkari plush alpaca toys: naturals, baristas, rainbow, monsterfluffs, and limited edition. These wool stuffed toys were sold in various colors, including white, ivory, light brown, dark brown, black, pink, purple, light blue, and mixed colors, and were available in four sizes ranging from approximately 6 inches to 19 inches tall. A label on the underside of each toy bearing the name “INKARI” identifies the product. The affected toys were sold at specialty stores nationwide and through online retailers such as Amazon.com, Etsy.com, and Inkari-alpaca.com between November 2020 and July 2025, with prices ranging from $25 to $100. Consumers are urged to immediately stop using these recalled toys. To receive a full refund, customers must contact Inkari, cut the fur of the toy, and provide photographic proof of this action to the company. No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall. The importer of these toys is Inkari B.V. of the Netherlands, and they were manufactured in Peru.
