Maryland State Police are actively investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred early Saturday morning in Salisbury and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a suspect. The victim has been identified as Kem’mon La’Austin Walker, 27, of Eden, Maryland, who was pronounced deceased at TidalHealth Hospital after sustaining an apparent stab wound.

The incident began shortly after 1 a.m. on October 4, when officers from the Salisbury Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of E. Main Street following reports of a fight. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the victim with injuries consistent with a stabbing. Investigators have since issued an arrest warrant for Carlus Dupree Gerald Jr., 35, of Salisbury, Maryland, in connection with Walker’s death. Gerald faces charges including second-degree murder and other related offenses.
