The incident began shortly after 1 a.m. on October 4, when officers from the Salisbury Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of E. Main Street following reports of a fight. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the victim with injuries consistent with a stabbing. Investigators have since issued an arrest warrant for Carlus Dupree Gerald Jr., 35, of Salisbury, Maryland, in connection with Walker’s death. Gerald faces charges including second-degree murder and other related offenses.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this case or the current whereabouts of Carlus Dupree Gerald Jr. to contact Maryland State Police at 443-298-9447. The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit is leading the ongoing investigation.
