The product displays “ICYBREEZE” on both the fan and its base and was sold in slate blue, gray, and seafoam color options. The recalled units were sold online at http://www.icybreeze.com and Amazon.com between November 2023 and August 2024 for approximately $150. The importer of these fans is IcyBreeze Cooling LLC, based in Grapevine, Texas, and they were manufactured in China.

Consumers should contact their municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center to inquire about proper disposal methods for recalled lithium-ion batteries, as they require different disposal procedures due to a heightened fire risk.
The firm has reported seven instances where the misting fan overheated during charging, with two of these incidents resulting in a fire. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with these incidents.
