Washington County Sheriff’s Office has released the body camera footage from the 2022 incident in which Gerald Wayne Koogle Jr opened fire on three deputies responding to a domestic call.
Koogle was sentenced to 30 years in prison for firing at Washington County Sheriff’s deputies on June 3, 2022. He pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree assault as part of a plea deal, which dropped the original attempted murder charges. The body camera footage is below.
