A newly formed but rapidly growing international health and wellness company is taking a bold step into the U.S. market with a major investment in Western Maryland. SJ Incorporation will open a 35,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Fort Ritchie, located in Cascade, Washington County. This move not only represents the single largest commercial development in the ongoing revitalization of the former military post but also promises to bring 300 full-time jobs to the region over the next four years.

Established in 2023 and based in Illinois, SJ Incorporation claims to have positioned itself as a provider of innovative, affordable health and wellness products aimed at both developing and developed markets. With operations spanning Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, the company offers a broad product catalog that ranges from medical treatments to general wellness and skincare. Its stated mission is to make wellness accessible, sustainable, and integrated into everyday life. Through this facility, SJ Incorporation aims to produce and distribute medicines and medical device components, enhancing its footprint in the U.S. healthcare market.
While the company website lists multiple product lines, limited information about their product availability outside of their website is currently available. The company’s product lines include pediatric medications such as Infan’s Parox, a cherry-flavored oral suspension containing acetaminophen for fever and pain relief, which is compliant with FDA over-the-counter monograph regulations. However, not all of its offerings have received FDA approval. Among its wellness-focused products, Dona Monthly Patches—designed to relieve menstrual pain—are explicitly labeled as unapproved by the FDA and include disclaimers about their safety and effectiveness.

SJ Incorporation’s full product lineup spans several categories. Its health products include Sana Gut, a probiotic suspension, and Kidstyle Electrolytes, designed to combat dehydration. In the vitamin segment, it offers Novel Vita multivitamin gummies and the Vtonic range tailored for men, women, and older adults. Over-the-counter remedies cover common ailments with products like nasal decongestant chest rubs, topical pain relievers, and lidocaine patches. Wellness items such as Super Fiber, Party Rock Capsules for liver support and detox, and Quick Lose for weight management demonstrate the company’s reach into lifestyle health products. Skincare and beauty lines, including stretch mark creams and frizz-control hair serums, further highlight the diversity of the brand.
The new Maryland facility is intended to manufacture and distribute many of these products to both domestic and international customers. To support this development, Washington County has extended a $100,000 conditional loan. In addition, the Maryland Department of Commerce is considering a $1 million conditional loan through its Advantage Maryland program. The company also qualifies for the Job Creation Tax Credit and One Maryland Tax Credit, incentives aimed at bolstering regional economic development.
Local leaders see SJ Incorporation’s investment as a major milestone in the transformation of Fort Ritchie from a decommissioned military site to a vibrant center of commerce. Developer John Krumpotich, who leads the former Army base’s redevelopment, emphasized the long-term impact on employment and regional growth. County officials are hopeful that this facility will spark additional investments and help establish Washington County as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
