At around 8:00 p.m. on March 20, deputies responded to a call reporting a robbery at D’s Vape Shop, located at 18728 North Pointe Drive in Hagerstown. Employees told law enforcement that a white male, dressed in dark clothing with a hood, entered the store and issued threats to kill staff members. He then took marijuana-related products before attempting to leave the store.

When a clerk tried to intervene, the suspect physically assaulted the employee before fleeing in an unknown direction. Deputies began canvassing the area and, at 8:27 p.m., located an individual matching the description near the Volvo entrance on Pennsylvania Avenue.
