HAGERSTOWN, MD News (10/24/2024) – Beginning in early 2025, Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) will introduce a daily parking fee as part of efforts to support its growth and improved services. The parking fee, set at $5 per day with the first hour free, will apply to all terminal parking lots. Payments will be accepted via credit and debit cards, as well as mobile payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Wallet.

The fee implementation comes alongside an expansion of HGR’s parking facilities, with construction scheduled to start in November 2024. The expanded parking area is intended to accommodate the airport’s increasing passenger traffic, driven by a 38% rise in Allegiant flights year-over-year.
Revenue generated from the parking fees will be used to fund key airport services, including law enforcement and emergency personnel for each flight, staffing, maintenance of the terminal, and future improvements to commercial air services.

HGR’s parking rates will remain competitive compared to other regional airports, which charge up to $32 per day. Even the farthest parking spots offer a short walk to the terminal, and the lot is open to the general public, including commuters, providing a secure and affordable parking option.
