HAGERSTOWN, MD News (4/17/2024) – Four State Comic Con is gearing up for its annual event in Hagerstown, MD, set to take place on April 27 and 28, promising attendees an exciting lineup of pop culture icons, comic book celebrities, and various activities for all ages. Returning for its third consecutive year at the Hagerstown Community College Athletic, Recreation, and Community Center (ARCC), the convention boasts over 50,000 square feet of space dedicated to comics, cards, pop culture collectibles, and more, featuring over 150 vendors and 50 artists.

Among the highlights of this year’s celebrity guest list are Robert Bumpass, known for his role as the voice of Squidward on the popular Nickelodeon series “SpongeBob Squarepants,” and Tara Sands, recognized as the voice of the original Pokémon, Bulbasaur, in the classic animated show. Additionally, fans can look forward to meeting Jim Krut, famous for his portrayal of the ‘helicopter zombie’ in the legendary film “Dawn of the Dead,” and James Ellsworth, a star of WWE wrestling.
In keeping with its tradition, Four State Comic Con maintains a strong focus on comic books, featuring notable artists such as Geof Isherwood from Marvel Comics and DC Comics. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interact with a diverse range of comic book celebrities, including Gus Mauk, known for his cover art on titles like “GI Joe” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” Nick Davis, writer and occasional artist of “Night Guardians,” Jason Seaux, artist for Paranoia Comics, and Timothy Fling, an independent comic book creator from Earth Dog Studios.
