HAGERSTOWN, MD News (4/4/2024) – The Washington County Agricultural Education Center is set to host a public information meeting on the proposed Agricultural Education Center Multipurpose Indoor Building. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 17th at 6:00 PM, the gathering will take place at the Washington County Agriculture Education Center Administrative Offices situated at 7313 Sharpsburg Pike Boonsboro MD 21713.

During this session, attendees will be provided with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the latest concepts for the Agricultural Education Center Multipurpose Indoor Building. A variety of materials, including floor plans, renderings, and site concept plans, will be available for review, offering insights into the proposed project. While the overarching building concept has been outlined, detailed design work on specific building elements has not yet commenced, rendering this meeting an opportune moment for soliciting feedback.

The proposed building is envisioned to serve as a versatile venue capable of accommodating recreational activities and special events, thereby augmenting the Agriculture Center’s capacity and enabling it to host year-round activities. Conceptual images have been prepared to provide stakeholders with a visual representation of the proposed structure.
