Washington County Senior Stars fall to Frederick County in Roundball Classic
Local Sports News 3/26/2023 – The Frederick County Senior Stars finished the game strong to win the 2023 Roundball Classic’s South Mountain Showdown, 90-86, over the Washington County Senior Stars. St. Maria Goretti senior Tristan Cook led the Washington County squad with 23 points, South Hagerstown’s Sayvion Mobley had 10 points and eight rebounds and Boonsboro’s Gavin Blair and Eb Manhiya had eight points each. Goretti’s Jarvis Wright and Williamsport’s Manny Acquah added six points each. Acquah also added six rebounds in the loss.

Lady’s Soccer Tournament This Weekend
HAGERSTOWN, MD News (3/1/2023) – The HCC Woman’s soccer team is putting on a 7v7 soccer tournament at the Hagerstown soccer club this weekend. The u16 and u19 mix from The Hagerstown Freedom FireBalls play as well as the u19 Hagerstown Freedom Fire. This tournament is A precursor to the final Preseason Baltimore Mania tournament on March 24th and 25th. The girls NCSL Club season opens officially on April 1st.
