Leesburg, VA residents now have the opportunity to register their children for the upcoming fall NFL Flag Football League, hosted by Ida Lee Park. The program, which emphasizes skill development and competitive play, will feature a dedicated girls’ division for elementary and middle school students, marking its return for the 2026 season.
The league is structured into five co-ed age groups: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-17 years old. Complementing these divisions are the reintroduced all-girls elementary and middle school teams, designed for participants aged 8-10 and 11-13. This inclusive approach aims to provide opportunities for young athletes across a broad age spectrum to engage in the sport.
Participants in the NFL Flag Football League will receive instruction in fundamental football skills, including passing, catching, defending, and running.
