The planned training center is designed to enhance the overall golfing experience at Black Rock, catering to players of all skill levels and fostering the continued expansion of the golf course. Washington County officials and members of the Black Rock Golf Board are expected to be in attendance to formally initiate the project. During the reception, the Golf Board will outline the center’s objectives and present its ongoing fundraising needs, which will support the completion of all project elements and the development of future youth programming.
The groundbreaking and fundraising reception will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Black Rock Golf Course. Community members interested in learning more about this development and supporting the new training center are encouraged to attend.
