In a time where local news media coverage seems to be disappearing, your contribution is more important than ever. While our in-depth articles are for supporting members only, we won’t put our core news content behind a paywall, because we believe access to news should be democratized, instead of access for only those who can afford it.
But keeping the lights on and taking the fight to local accountability takes resources. Your monthly subscription directly funds our public records requests, website hosting, and time spent analyzing local government and events so you don’t have to.
We are the only newsroom in Washington County with facts-first focus, locally owned, independent, while keeping our core news content free. Will you help us keep it that way?
The agenda outlines a structured session beginning with the call to order and the approval of previous meeting minutes from February 9, 2026. Following these procedural steps, the commission will move into new business. A significant item on this agenda is the election of a new Chairperson, a role that will guide the commission’s future activities and focus. Additionally, the commission is slated to address the filing of its annual report with the State Ethics Commission, a crucial step in maintaining transparency and accountability in city operations.
Furthering the planning for the upcoming year, the Ethics Commission will also deliberate on and establish its meeting schedule for 2027. This forward-looking decision will help ensure consistent engagement and oversight throughout the following year.
