Surveillance footage from city cameras reportedly captured Williams firing a weapon in the direction of individuals with whom he was engaged in an argument. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with this event. The quick apprehension of Williams is attributed to the focused efforts of personnel within the police department’s Real Time Information Center and the effective deployment of the department’s drone technology.
Following his arrest, Williams was transported to the Washington County Detention Center. He faces multiple charges including attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, carrying a handgun on his person, using a handgun in the commission of a violent crime, and reckless endangerment. A booking photo was not available at the time of the press release.
