Tzumi Electronics Recalls SLF Sauna Blankets Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

Approximately 3,600 SLF Sauna Blankets are being recalled by Tzumi Electronics due to significant safety concerns, as announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The recalled products have demonstrated a tendency to overheat, presenting a risk of fire and burns to consumers. This recall impacts consumers who purchased these sauna blankets between February 2025 and February 2026.

The affected products are identified as SLF Sauna Blankets, specifically model number 30065TAR and serial number WF2236430065. These blankets measure 70 inches in length and 31 inches in width and are characterized by their black color with white accent handles. They were sold with a control panel and a wireless remote designed to manage time and temperature settings. The importer of these units is Tzumi Electronics, based in New York, New York, and they were manufactured in China.

Tzumi Electronics has reported receiving six instances where these sauna blankets overheated. Of these reports, five involved minor damage to furniture. Consumers are urged to cease using the recalled sauna blankets immediately. To receive a replacement, consumers must first visit http://www.tzumi.com/recalls to verify their product’s eligibility. Upon confirmation, consumers will need to unplug the sauna blanket, cut its power cord, and then mark the controller with the word “Recalled.” Photographic evidence of the serial number and this marking, along with other required details, must be submitted according to the instructions provided on the recall website.

These recalled sauna blankets were available for purchase at retail locations including Target and Macy’s, as well as online through Target.com and Snappy. The approximate retail price for these units was $130.
