The Hagerfest Music and Art Festival will span from 11 AM to 8 PM on Saturday, May 2nd, transforming downtown Hagerstown into a hub for artistic expression. Attendees can explore multiple locations featuring a diverse range of musical performances and visual art exhibitions. The festival will also highlight public art and the prestigious National Mural Awards, with the award winners being announced at Live at Hub City Vinyl, located at 28 E Baltimore Street, at 3:00 PM. Many of the award recipients are expected to be present.
For those attending the festival, parking options include street parking and several parking garages, such as the A&E deck, University District deck, and the Hub City Parking Garage. Volunteers and guides will be available to assist attendees in finding participating venues and navigating the festival area. A festival map and schedule will be distributed at all participating venues, providing details on venue locations, program information, and performance times.
Recognizing the need for accessibility, Hagerfest will offer a shuttle service that will operate throughout the event, making stops at each main venue. This service is intended to assist individuals with accessibility needs in moving between festival locations.
The festival will conclude with an afterparty at Hub City Brewery from 8 PM to 10 PM. This closing event will feature DJ Miles Morales, a 360 Photobooth, and a musical journey celebrating America 250, spanning different decades.
