The Boys & Girls Club of Washington County is inviting the community to participate in a special fundraising event, the “May the Futures Be With You” Telethon, aimed at bolstering its summer programming. The six-hour broadcast, scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., will be streamed live across the organization’s social media channels. The telethon intends to broaden the public’s understanding of the Boys & Girls Club’s extensive operations beyond recent building projects. By showcasing the organization’s year-round commitment to providing secure, nurturing, and enriching environments for young people, the event aims to garner support for its crucial summer initiatives.
