Residents of Hagerstown and Washington County are invited to participate in the St. Patrick’s Day Run Fest on Saturday, March 14th, a community fitness event designed for all ages. The Washington County Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Hagerstown are partnering to host this event, with proceeds supporting the Washington County Community Free Clinic. The festival will feature a 5K run, an 8K run, and a one-mile run/walk, offering options for various fitness levels. Following the races, participants can enjoy an “After Party” in downtown Hagerstown to kick off St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

The St. Patrick’s Day Run Fest encourages participants to embrace the festive spirit by wearing costumes and St. Patrick’s Day attire. After the races, the Irish festivities will continue. From 11 AM to 1 PM, attendees can enjoy traditional Irish music performed by Poor Man’s Gambit at Hub City Brewery. The celebration will extend into the afternoon with Poor Man’s Gambit and additional activities scheduled from 3 PM to 6 PM at Baile Bagels and Brews.
