In addition to the $2 million jackpot winner in Hagerstown, a Baltimore resident also became a millionaire, winning $1 million from an “All About Cash” scratch-off ticket. The state saw a total of $50,000 prizes claimed by players in Suitland, Halethorpe, Bethesda, and Landover, with tickets for these wins purchased at various retail locations including 7-Eleven, a mall Shell station, and a Sunoco. Further substantial scratch-off wins included multiple $10,000 prizes distributed across the state, with winning tickets sold in Clarksville, Keedysville, District Heights, Landover, Leonardtown, Upper Marlboro, Columbia, Edgewater, and Baltimore.

Beyond scratch-off games, FAST PLAY tickets also yielded significant winnings. A “Chili Pepper Payout” progressive jackpot of $158,107 was claimed by a player in Clarksburg. Another FAST PLAY ticket, “Big Win,” sold in District Heights, offered a $100,000 prize, though it was unclaimed as of the reporting date. Additionally, an “Ultimate Payday” progressive jackpot of $10,000 was won and claimed in Pasadena.

The Maryland Lottery also reported several large wins from draw games. Two $50,000 “PICK 5” tickets were sold in Laurel, and another $50,000 “PICK 5” ticket was sold in Temple Hills. Smaller, yet still substantial, “PICK 5” prizes of $25,000 were also won in Clinton and La Plata. In the Powerball game, a $50,000 ticket was sold and claimed in Greenbelt. RaceTrac players also saw notable wins, with prizes of $27,932.40 claimed in California, $17,388 in Middle River, and $14,659 in Kensington. A $10,038.10 RaceTrac ticket sold in Greenbelt remained unclaimed.

The Maryland Lottery provides specific procedures for claiming prizes. Winners of amounts over $25,000 are required to visit the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which operates by appointment only. Prizes up to $25,000 can be redeemed at the cashier window of any of Maryland’s six casinos. Smaller prizes, up to $5,000, can be cashed at over 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All authorized Maryland Lottery retailers are equipped to redeem tickets valued at $600 or less. For draw game tickets, the expiration period is 182 days after the drawing date, and FAST PLAY tickets have a 182-day claiming window from the date of purchase. Information regarding the final claim dates for scratch-off tickets is available on the Lottery’s website.
