Groulx, a self-proclaimed fan of both the Baltimore Ravens and scratch-off games, purchased several Ravens X10 tickets. One of these tickets turned out to be a second-tier winner, revealing a $50,000 prize. He purchased the winning ticket, along with others, from the AC&T convenience store located at 22507 Jefferson Boulevard in Smithsburg. The discovery of his win occurred on Christmas morning while he was opening gifts at home. After scanning the ticket with the Maryland Lottery app, he received a notification indicating a substantial prize that required him to visit Lottery headquarters. To confirm, he also scanned the ticket at the retailer, where the store’s system confirmed his $50,000 winnings. Upon claiming his prize, Groulx expressed disbelief, stating that the reality of his winnings had not yet fully settled in. He has not yet made any specific plans for the money, and intends to continue his work as a federal government employee, pursue his hobby of working on cars in his home garage, and continue supporting the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens X10 scratch-off ticket, which was launched in August, still has several prizes available. These include two top prizes of $200,000, two more second-tier prizes of $50,000, and numerous smaller prizes. Players who have non-winning Ravens X10 and Ravens X5 tickets can participate in the Ravens second-chance promotion by entering them into My Lottery Rewards. The final deadline for entries into this promotion is January 4.
