Beginning Wednesday, October 1, the self-service kiosk will be available outside the Customer Service entrance located at 32 N. Potomac Street. The machine will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering a flexible payment solution for residents regardless of traditional business hours. To utilize the kiosk, customers will need their account and customer numbers. Alternatively, individuals can look up their account information by entering their billing address. While the kiosk does not accept cash transactions, it readily accepts checks and most major credit cards. The system has also been designed to be bilingual, supporting both English and Spanish speakers to ensure broader accessibility. This new kiosk complements existing payment methods, including InvoiceCloud, as part of the city’s effort to provide secure, convenient, and efficient payment options.
Residents will benefit from the increased flexibility in paying their city bills, with the kiosk offering an on-demand service that avoids the need to visit City Hall during regular operating hours. The ability to pay at any time of day or night, coupled with the option to look up account information by address, is expected to streamline the payment process for many households. The acceptance of checks and major credit cards also provides a range of convenient payment choices.
