The preliminary investigation indicates that a Honda motorcycle traveling westbound collided with a Volkswagen Jetta that was attempting to make a left turn while heading eastbound. The operator of the motorcycle, identified as 43-year-old Nicholas Main of Mount Airy, Maryland, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. The driver of the passenger vehicle remained at the location, and multiple witnesses were also present. The FCSO is now leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
