The incident involved gunfire that struck both a vehicle and a nearby residence. Responding officers discovered that the shooting took place in an alley within the same block.

Authorities were dispatched to the scene around 6:20 PM and, upon arrival, began their investigation into the reported shooting. They found evidence that bullets had impacted not only a vehicle but also a house. The victim of the shooting was later located at a different location than where the incident initially took place. This individual sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm and was subsequently transported to Meritus Medical Center for treatment. The investigation remains ongoing, and further details are being withheld at this time.
The Hagerstown Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in their investigation.
