According to the Sheriff’s Office, a deputy initially pulled the vehicle over for an equipment violation around 8:30 p.m. on July 15. Suspicious behavior prompted the deputy to call for a K9 unit, which alerted positively to the presence of drugs. A subsequent search revealed multiple bags containing a total of approximately 385 grams of suspected cocaine.

The driver, identified as 25-year-old Donta Shawn Allen of Baltimore, was taken into custody and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. He is charged with felony possession with intent to distribute cocaine, misdemeanor cocaine possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
