The recall affects models in several colors, including metallic red, pearl white, navy, green, indigo, black, and mint. The bikes were sold in both mid-step and low-step frame designs and in small, medium, and large sizes. Units with a serial number where the third character is “H,” “J,” or “K” are subject to an immediate fork replacement at no cost. Those with a third character “G” require a visual inspection by an authorized dealer. Each bike’s serial number can be found stamped on the left rear dropout and on a sticker under the downtube.

Though no injuries have been reported, there have been four confirmed incidents of broken fork steerer tubes, raising concerns for potential falls and injuries. Customers who purchased one of these bikes between September 2019 and May 2025—at prices ranging from $2,500 to $3,200—should stop using the bike and contact Giant Bicycle for further guidance.
