Trek Bicycle Corporation has issued a recall for approximately 927 Electra e-bikes due to a defect that poses a crash hazard. The rear fender on the affected models can come loose and make contact with the rear wheel, potentially causing the bike to stop abruptly and leading to loss of control. The recall, announced on February 20, 2025, applies to specific Electra Navigator Go! and Electra Ace of Spades Go! models from various years.

The recall affects Electra Navigator Go! e-bikes from the 2021 and 2022 model years and Electra Ace of Spades Go! e-bikes from 2018, 2021, and 2022. The Navigator Go! is identified by its Matte Nautilus Blue color with map and ocean graphics, while the Ace of Spades Go! features a Matte Black finish with a gold spade design. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled bikes immediately and contact an authorized Trek or Electra retailer for a free repair, which involves replacing the rear fender bolts.
