Hagerstown Police arrived at the scene around 1:40 a.m. and discovered three individuals who had been shot: a 15-year-old girl with a leg wound, a 17-year-old boy shot in the hip, and a 19-year-old man with a thigh injury. All three were transported to Meritus Medical Center for treatment, and their injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from a larger altercation involving a group of bystanders, with the victims possibly not being the intended targets. Police have not yet identified any suspects or made arrests, but they have confirmed that the investigation is still active.
The investigation is expected to continue in the coming days as they work to determine who was responsible.
