Jordan Moses, 18, of Anne Arundel County, was sentenced to 45 years in prison for his role in the first-degree murder of 17-year-old Anthony Johnson and several armed robberies. Takala Robinson, 22, of Baltimore City, received a 25-year sentence after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, participation in a criminal organization resulting in death, and armed robbery. Authorities linked the two to a violent group involved in a series of shootings that began in June 2022 and culminated in the murder of Johnson in Glen Burnie before the pair traveled to Ocean City, where they committed multiple armed robberies.
The investigation connected the recovered handgun in Moses’ possession to earlier crimes committed by the group. Moses was also found with property stolen from the Ocean City robbery victims. The two were arrested shortly after the Ocean City incidents, with charges and court proceedings coordinated across multiple jurisdictions due to the multi-county scope of the crimes.
