The investigation originated on April 24, 2025, after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) submitted a cybertip regarding potential illegal activity. Frederick County Sheriff’s Office detectives, working within the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, traced the information back to Brock, who is listed as a registered sex offender in the area.

Detectives executed a search warrant at Brock’s home on the 7100 block of Crystal Court in Middletown, where they seized several electronic devices believed to contain illicit content. Authorities allege that Brock used social media accounts to store and distribute files depicting child sexual abuse.
