Leon Weathersbe, 38, received a 137-month prison sentence on May 7, 2025, after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Keli M. Neary in the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

The charges stemmed from an April 12, 2022, traffic stop conducted by Pennsylvania State Police. Weathersbe initially cooperated and consented to a vehicle search, but fled on foot during the process. Though he was not apprehended immediately, officers discovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and a loaded handgun concealed under the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
