Authorities are searching for a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred Friday evening in Somerset County. Maryland State Police have identified the victim as 20-year-old Evan Neal of Crisfield, Maryland, who was pronounced dead at the scene. An arrest warrant has been issued for 28-year-old Tyren Lee Ivey, also of the Crisfield area, who is wanted for first-degree murder and related charges.

The incident took place around 4:43 p.m. outside an apartment in the 200-block of the Somers Cove neighborhood in Crisfield. Officers from the Crisfield Police Department responded to reports of a shooting and found Neal suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel confirmed his death at the scene.
Maryland State Police Homicide Unit investigators, assisted by crime scene technicians from the agency’s Forensic Sciences Division, responded to the scene to gather evidence. The Crisfield Police Department is also aiding in the investigation, which remains ongoing as authorities work to locate Ivey.

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information about the case or Ivey’s whereabouts to contact the Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack or the Crisfield Police Department. Ivey is considered armed and dangerous, and police caution the public against approaching him.
