The recalled dumbbells, model 9034 with serial number KK23289034, are adjustable from 10 to 90 pounds in five-pound increments. Users select the weight by turning the handle while the dumbbell is in its plastic storage tray. The product is black with red accents and has “FitRx” printed on both the tray and handles. The model and serial numbers are located on the side of the storage tray.
There have been over 60 incidents of weight plates detaching during use, resulting in at least seven reported injuries. These injuries include bruises, contusions, and abrasions, according to Tzumi Electronics.
