Initial findings indicate the victim was deliberately targeted by two individuals who followed him from the 200 block of Frederick Street. As the victim reached the area near Frederick Street and Memorial Boulevard, the suspects opened fire, striking him once in the neck. The wounded individual then fled to a nearby acquaintance’s residence in Frederick Manor, where emergency medical services were called to provide treatment.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Meritus Medical Center. His injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. Authorities have not yet identified the suspects involved in the attack.
