Court records indicate that Stahl faced charges after accusations of harassment and threats targeting the church and its daycare. Initial peace orders had been issued against Stahl in early 2024 after he allegedly tried to enter the daycare but expired in March. Following their expiration, reports of Stahl’s threatening behavior resurfaced, including allegations of verbal threats and accusations against the institution. In response, the daycare reportedly implemented heightened security measures during the summer of 2024.

By December 2024, Stahl entered a guilty plea to the harassment charge. Judge Terry Myers then sentenced him to 90 days in jail, though the sentence was suspended. Stahl was placed on three years of supervised probation.
