We know you value local news and entertainment that is free, open, and independent. Producing high-quality, paywall-free content isn't free. It takes time, effort, and resources to keep you informed and entertained. Unlike corporate media, we don’t have deep-pocketed investors or big advertisers funding our work—we rely on you, our readers and listeners, to keep Radio Free Hub City running. We're literally running on a shoe-string budget, but keep working hard to provide as much news and entertainment as we can.

Investigators have examined eight locations, including the 3000 block of Traceys Mill Road, the 4000 block of Wentz Road in Manchester, and the 2000 block of Cedar Ridge Road in Westminster. Evidence suggests that fireworks were placed inside the mailboxes, causing the explosions.
Authorities are urging residents and passersby in these areas, as well as anyone who has experienced similar mailbox damage but has not yet reported it, to contact the Northeast Regional Arson Tipline at 410-386-3050. The State Fire Marshal’s Office emphasizes the importance of community involvement in identifying those responsible for these acts.
