These denials came amid increased scrutiny following Biden’s decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race after a debate performance that drew criticism and raised questions about his age and cognitive health. At 82, Biden faced growing concerns from both the public and within his party regarding his capacity to serve another term.

He also acknowledged the need for the Democratic Party to improve its communication with working families, highlighting plans to better convey their legislative successes in areas such as infrastructure and semiconductor policy.
