Following the American Legion event, the Hagerstown delegation will lay additional wreaths at key veterans memorials throughout the city. These include the Memorial Monument at Rose Hill Cemetery, the Vietnam Veterans Monument on South Walnut Street, the Medal of Honor Triangle on Jonathan Street, the Korean War Veterans Memorial along Potomac Avenue, and the Bloom Park Spanish-American War Memorial. Each site honors specific conflicts and commemorates veterans from different eras in American military history.

To facilitate the event, portions of South Walnut Street and West Baltimore Street will be temporarily closed to traffic from 1:00 p.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. Detours will be posted, and emergency vehicles will have access to nearby blocks, ensuring safety and accessibility for residents.

Washington County government offices will also be closed on Veterans Day, with certain services, such as the Forty West Landfill and Washington County Transit, operating on modified schedules.
