The incident occurred on October 27 around 10:30 p.m., when Maryland State Police troopers from the Glen Burnie Barrack responded to reports of a shooting along southbound Maryland Route 295. Preliminary findings indicate that the incident stemmed from a road rage confrontation between Williams and another driver, whose identity remains undisclosed. At the scene, officers observed that the victim’s vehicle had sustained gunfire, and a projectile was recovered by Maryland State Police forensic technicians.

Following a coordinated investigation, Williams was arrested on October 28 at his Baltimore residence, where a loaded handgun was seized during a search. The Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office has since consulted with law enforcement on the charges brought against him.
