“Brian Lepley has been an advocate for his fellow officers and a dedicated public servant throughout his career,” said Local 1994 President Gino Renne. “We are confident that his leadership on the Cumberland City Council will bring positive changes and a strong voice for Cumberland’s workforce and residents alike.”
The union is urging Cumberland residents to support Lepley in the upcoming election as a step toward enhanced representation for workers and public safety officials in city leadership.
UFCW Local 1994 MCGEO represents approximately 8,000 public service employees across Maryland, including bus operators, public health nurses, law enforcement personnel, and various public sector workers.
