The agenda includes the approval of minutes from a previous meeting, reports from commissioners and staff, and an opportunity for citizen participation. A bid for resurfacing the Martin L. “Marty” Snook Pool will be awarded to Winkler Pool Management, Inc. for $92,335.88. The board will also authorize the purchase of a Toro Grounds Master 4500 mower for the Black Rock Golf Course for $91,082.69, utilizing a state contract to save costs.
The meeting will review a grant proposal under the Governor’s Office for Children, requesting $186,500 to support poverty reduction efforts in Washington County. Commissioners will also evaluate a bid for a new parking lot payment system at Hagerstown Regional Airport and receive an update on the success of the 2024 Washington County Ice Cream Trail.
